This innovative textile technology enables bacteria to digest the fabric, expediting the decomposition process. As a result, even if disposed of in natural environments or landfills, this fabric can naturally decompose without requiring human intervention.

  • What is the decomposition rate of Amni Soul Eco® polyamide?

Amni Soul Eco® boasts a decomposition rate approximately 10 times faster in landfills and 20 times faster in oceans compared to common polyamide materials.

  • Does using Amni Soul Eco® in swimwear affect its durability?

No, the yarn decomposition technology implemented in Amni Soul Eco® does not compromise the fabric's durability. Hence, our swimwear made from this material can withstand exposure to seawater and pool chlorine without diminishing its lifespan or softness. Moreover, the accelerated marine decomposition of the fabric aims to mitigate the release of microplastics during laundry. However, it's important to dispose of the fabric in common waste or recycling facilities (where available) rather than in marine environments. Complete decomposition only occurs in landfill conditions.
